- “The Competitive Advantage of a Sustainable Business” - 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Featuring speakers from Subaru of Indiana, Nolte Inc., CORE Colorado, U.S. Federal Government and State of Colorado Governor’s Energy Office. Learn why sustainability strategies enhance business competitiveness, especially business competitiveness for sales/contracts with the Federal and State governments.
- “The Department of Defense’s Journey to Sustainable Procurement”- 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Featuring speakers from the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense (Installations and Environment), U.S. General Services Administration, and Fort Carson. Learn the details of the DoD’s sustainable procurement initiatives, including the new DoD Green Procurement Policy, the DoD Toxic and Hazardous Chemicals Reduction Plan, the green procurement initiatives of the General Services Administration and the leadingedge sustainable procurement policies and strategies of Fort Carson.
The SCSC also features 10 other workshops on sustainable development, a sustainability Expo featuring over 40 companies, and keynote presentations from Subaru America and the White House Office of the Federal Environmental Executive.

1) Papa John's Pizza of Colorado to team up with local Boulder company, Cellular Recycler, to collect any used cell phones
Proceeds being donated to the ROCKY MOUNTAIN USO to support our US Troops.
WHAT: Donate a cell phone. Enjoy free breadsticks with your next order. Support our US troops. Protect the environment.- 46 COLORADO PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA locations will be collecting old, unused, broken and still working cell phones this holiday season.
- Every customer who drops off or gives a cell phone to a Papa John’s delivery driver will be given a gift certificate for a FREE order of breadsticks with their next order.
- All cell phones will broken down for parts or refurbished by local Boulder company CELLULAR RECYCLER. All efforts are taken to protect the environment and prevent unused cell phones from polluting our landfills.
- Proceeds from the collection of these cell phones will be donated, on behalf of PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA of COLORADO, to the ROCKY MOUNTAIN USO to benefit our US Troops.
