Supreme Court decides not to hear PhRMA Case v. Alameda County

The U.S. Supreme Court denied a case brought by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and two other industry trade groups, which challenged the constitutionality of Alameda County, California's drug disposal law.

Congratulations to the student winners of CAFR's statewide recycling poster contest! The contest allowed students to showcase their artistic talent as well as their commitment to recycling. More than 27 schools participated, and 12 winners were selected from more than 200 entries.
