2008 Recycling Awards
Nominations due May 9
Is your program a tremendous example of recycling or diversion in Colorado?
Do you know a program that is? Now is the chance to nominate the program for the 2008 CAFR Annual Recycling Awards.
Award categories include:
Outstanding Elected Official
Outstanding Public Education Program
Outstanding Business Recycling / Diversion Program
Outstanding Government Recycling / Diversion Program
Outstanding Organics Program
Outstanding Volunteer
Lifetime Achievement
Fill out the application and a one-page (double-sided) program overview to CAFR by Friday May 9, for consideration. All specific instructions are included on the application form.
The winners will be honored at the CAFR Annual Summit on May 18-20, being held in Aspen, during the lunch time session on Tuesday, May 20th so please plan now on attending the Summit. Don’t be shy – give your program a chance and help inform other communities about winning designs!

CAFR Night at the Park
Help support CAFR by coming to the ballpark On July 18th!

Purchase your discounted tickets ($35 per ticket--Outfield Box, Section 116) and receive them by mail. Watch as your Colorado Rockies take on the Pittsburgh Pirates! Proceeds will go to the Colorado Association for Recycling; all CAFR attendees will be seated together and CAFR will be recognized with a scoreboard message.
