Poster Contest

All of Colorado’s K-12 students are invited to showcase their artistic talent and their commitment to the environment by participating in the Colorado Association for Recycling’s 10th Annual Recycling Poster Contest, a project of the Education and Outreach Committee.

This year's theme: "Top 10 Reasons to Recycle"

Prizes

Ten (10) winners receive prizes. Plus, each school with winning entries will receive recycling educational materials and a free one-year teacher membership to RAFT Colorado.

2016 Winners

Congratulations to the winning artists! The Grand Prize winner is Nathanel Cho. We asked Nathanel to make a short video about his commitment to recycling.

All of the posters below will be highlighted in a public service video to promote America Recycles Day, November 15. The video will debut in late October. All CAFR members, schools and public television stations will be encouraged to download and air the video, free of charge, on their websites and telecasts in November and beyond. Look for a post and link here in the future.

First- and second-place winners were awarded in each of five grade catgories: Kindergarten through 2nd grade, 3rd through 4th grade, 5th through 6th grade, 7th through 8th grade and 9th through 12th grade.
