Is your organization looking to -?green" its office equipment? Save energy and reduce costs? Avoid liability from improper disposal and -?do the right thing" by responsibly recycling? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, the State Electronics Challenge is here to help with free technical assistance.
The Challenge is a simple, straightforward and free program to help public sector entities and schools green the lifecycle of their office equipment -" from purchasing -?green" products to using them efficiently and recycling responsibly. The Challenge provides tools, resources, and technical assistance and also documents the success of participating programs; Partners receive annual sustainability reports that detail reductions in energy use, GHGs, waste, and avoided toxins. Exemplary programs are acknowledged through the Challenge's awards and recognition program.
If your organization is already buying green office equipment, using it efficiently, and reusing or recycling it responsibly, the Challenge can document results and give recognition for the great work you're doing!
