Diverting Food Waste to Composting: The Foodservice + Restaurant Perspective

The Composting Collaborative, an initiative founded by GreenBlue, BioCycle and the US Composting Council, is holding a webinar on April 17, 2018, Diverting Food Waste To Composting: The Foodservice + Restaurant Perspective. The macro-level analysis will be provided by the National Restaurant Association's Jeff Clark, who will walk through the association's recent State of Restaurant Sustainability, as well as ReFED's new Restaurant and Foodservice Food Waste Action Guides. To see how best practices have been implemented, the webinar then dives into the experience of Taco Time Northwest, with Franchise Affairs and Sustainability Manager Wes Benson, to discuss how the company developed a comprehensive organics collection program in both the back and front-of-house.
