The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is requesting Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) applications for a total of $1 million in SEP funds for projects that provide environmental or public health benefits in Weld County. Approximately two to five projects will be funded and projects will be selected through the SEP Community Process. Funding requests must be greater than $200,000 and may not exceed $500,000. Nonprofit organizations and governmental entities are eligible to apply. Eligible project categories are: pollution prevention (including energy efficiency), environmental restoration and protection, and environmental education. Projects must be “shovel-ready” and recipients will have up to three years to complete projects.
Applications must be received by 2:00 pm on April 10, 2018 in order to be considered for this SEP opportunity. Incomplete applications, applications that do not meet one of the checklist requirements, and applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
