Thanks to funding from the University of Colorado, Dex, Angel of Shavano Recycling and other private donations, the Colorado Association for Recycling (CAFR) announces its second annual Summit Scholarship Program. This fund is available to high school and college students in the State to attend the Colorado Summit for Recycling, June 7 and 8, at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
The Summit is CAFR’s 21st annual recycling conference where you will learn about and discuss “Recycling’s Road to the Future.” Speakers will share information on zero-waste programs, electronics, organics, marketing and outreach, reuse, new technologies, recycling markets and economics, sustainability in the national parks, policy and much more. The Summit offers an excellent setting to meet with business, government, nonprofit and university representatives to learn about career opportunities in a burgeoning environmental field.
