Our Vision:

To maximize the amount of material being recycled in Colorado and used as resources.

Our Mission:

To bring together individuals and leaders in business, education, nonprofits and state and local government to take action to turn ever greater amounts of waste into resources.

CAFR is the only Colorado recycling organization that is an affiliate of the National Recycling Coalition (NRC).  When you join CAFR, you automatically become a member of NRC.  The NRC, based in Washington, D.C. provides:

• Technical education
• Public information
• Shapes public and private policy on recycling
• Advocates for nationwide market development to promote recyclables as raw materials in manufacturing.
