Colorado gains new council for product stewardship

Product stewardship is the focus of a new council formed under the umbrella of the Colorado Association for Recycling (CAFR). The board of directors of CAFR approved the new Colorado Product Stewardship Council at its June meeting in Steamboat Springs

Recycling in the News: Zero Waste Initiative leading waste reduction efforts in Steamboat

Last week at a busy Bike to Work Day breakfast, Liz Wahl diligently was manning compost duty. “Toothpicks are trash,” she informed a helmet-toting cyclist carrying a handful of waste from the meal Wednesday morning on the Routt County Courthouse lawn in downtown Steamboat Springs.
